In 2025, I documented a new chapter at The Inn at Newport Ranch, where chef Adam Lawrence was hired to revitalize the destination’s culinary program. Joining him was Nick Wells, an exceptionally talented chef leading the kitchen.

Over several days, I photographed their processes, from foraging in landscapes surrounding the ranch, to crafting the dishes that makes their dining experience so unique. The project combined elements of landscape, portraiture, and food photography, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Northern California coastline.

This collaboration was as inspiring as it was enjoyable, surrounded by dedicated professionals in one of the most remarkable environments I’ve had the privilege to work in.
